At certain moments in the turning of the year - Samhain in the south, Beltane in the north - the veil between worlds grows thin. Whether you are descending into the dark or rising toward the light, this is a time of heightened presence, when the seen and unseen mingle.
Writing Beyond the Veil is a 1.5 hour online poetry workshop inviting you to cross the threshold through guided ritual, sacred reading, and intuitive writing. Together, we’ll enter a field of reverent listening for what wants to be written through us - from ancestors and luminous presences, to the Earth’s dreaming, and to the deeper voice within.
Through gentle visualisation, poetic invocation, and cycles of receptive writing, we’ll explore what it means to write with the unseen. The workshop is suitable for both experienced writers and those new to poetic or spiritual practice, offering a sacred container of grounding, protection, and creative unfolding.
